As innovators, we've all come up with new ideas for how things could (and should) be done.
It’s the prospect of coming up with the next big disruption that gets us out of bed in the morning, and what keeps our brains churning into the wee hours of the night.
But not all of us have had the opportunity to make our ideas a reality in some shape or form. For better or worse, that's because taking an idea to the next step requires buy-in from "the people that matter" (be it your team, your boss, a client, a board, an investor, etc.)
So what happens when the people that matter are predominately male, as most leadership tends to be? Do you stand up and say "why not?" when a room full of men say "that's not how it is done here"? Do you get over it and move on quickly when someone doesn't like your idea? Do you take their advice in strides?
With the new year upon us, what better time than now to learn about the power of grit and determination as a woman in innovation? This multi-faceted event will feature a dynamic panel of gritty and tenacious female founders, a Q&A session, and breakout discussions to set our own goals for 2018.
We hope to see you there!
